Oil prices gain more than $1 after Yemen strikes on KSA

TEHRAN, Oct. 22 (MNA) – Oil prices rose by more than $1 a barrel on Thursday as more Yemen attacks on Saudi Arabia stoke concerns over a broader escalation of regional conflict and further disruptions to West Asia supplies.

Brent crude futures gained $1.93, or 1.8 percent, to reach $110.75 a barrel as of 04:42 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude climbed $1.43, or 1.5 percent, to trade at $98.58.

Brent ended the previous session largely unchanged on Wednesday, whereas WTI fell by 67 cents.
